Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Kitchen Continuo ("we," "us") collects on this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, contact us using the details below.
Who we are
Kitchen Continuo is operated by VanSlyke Ventures LLC, based in the United States. You can learn more about VanSlyke Ventures at vanslykeventures.com. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, VanSlyke Ventures LLC is the data controller for the information described below.
Information we collect
When you use this site, we may collect:
- Information you give us directly — your name (optional) and email address when you sign up for updates, which of the listed features matter most to you, and any text you submit in the feedback form.
- Information collected automatically — standard analytics data via Google Analytics, such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, pages viewed, how long you stayed, the site that referred you, and general usage patterns. We use this to understand where visitors come from and where people drop off, not to identify you personally.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small files used to remember your cookie preference and to power Google Analytics. See "Cookies & analytics" below.
We do not knowingly collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this site.
How we use your information
- To send you updates about Kitchen Continuo and, if you opt in, invite you to early access — only if you check the marketing consent box when you sign up.
- To understand which features people want most, using the priorities and feedback you share with us.
- To measure and improve this website — traffic sources, popular pages, and where visitors leave.
- To respond if you contact us directly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Feedback you submit is read only by us — it is never published or shared outside VanSlyke Ventures LLC.
Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK visitors)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") applies, we rely on:
- Consent — for the email/name you submit to join our list (you must actively check a box to opt in), and for non-essential analytics cookies (see below). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for basic, aggregated site analytics needed to run and improve a small pre-launch site, where this does not override your privacy interests.
Cookies & analytics
We show a cookie banner on your first visit. If you accept, we load Google Analytics to measure traffic sources and site usage. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics or its cookies, and only a strictly necessary cookie (remembering your cookie choice) is used. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and reloading the page.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this site and process the data on our behalf, currently:
- Google Sheets (Google LLC) — where signup and feedback submissions are stored.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — for website traffic and usage analytics, only if you accept cookies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Kitchen Continuo, our users, or others.
International data transfers
This site may be accessed from outside the United States, including from the EEA/UK. Where your information is transferred internationally through our use of Google Sheets and Google Analytics, we rely on the safeguards Google provides for such transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent legal mechanism.
Data retention
We keep signup and feedback information for as long as reasonably needed to run our early-access list and product research, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer since it does not identify you individually.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your information in a portable format
- Object to, or restrict, certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing before that withdrawal
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@kitchencontinuo.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and product evolve. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.
